Interested in Being Featured in a Writer Highlight Post?

Hiya, lighters! I'm sure that you've seen our Writer Highlight posts at some point since you've been here on Light, but have you ever considered being highlighted?

Despite what you may think, we don't have a whole lineup of people waiting to be interviewed, so would you be interested?

That was a long pause...

I understand your hesitation. Let me explain what Writer Highlight is/entails, after all, it has been a while.

Writer Highlights are voluntary interviews where we email you some fun questions to fill out. The whole purpose is to help your fellow writers get to know you a little better. It's up to you to share as little or as much as you will.

Just message either me, @Katherine, or @ǟ ɢɨʀʟ ռǟʍɛɖ ֆǟʋǟռռǟ, or @Thomas here on Light, or by email, that you're interested in being highlighted for Writer Highlights and we'll get back to you ASAP with a Word document of prompted questions for you to fill out at you leisure. We'll answer any questions you have and let you know when your interview will be released on the site.

Important to note: We do not post your interview anywhere but here on Light in our lil' community. We do not post more or less information than what you give us in the interview. The interview is not live, it's just by email/Word.

I've found that the response these interviews recieve is always positive. Lighters (a.k.a "writers" if you're new here :) are inspired and encouraged by what you share. A huge thank you once again to @Rohan's Defender, @Sanjana Sunilkumar, @Emi, @Kluvs2write, and @V-Rose who have all been gracious, vulnerable, and just amazing to share a bit of themselves with us in their Writer Highlight interviews! I loved interviewing these gals and I love to read their interviews still! I know you lighters feel the same way, am I right?! :D

Know that what you have to share is significant and encouraging/inspirational, even if you don't feel like it is. We're each unique, individuals with unique perspectives. Don't let fear stop you!
