Reading Month Week 4: At Green Gables!

We're almost there! Can you belive it? We've almost finished Reading Month! Now it's time to head on over to Avonlea and visit Green Gables!

BTW I'm sorry I posted this late, but the last week of this month will just be catch-up week, so it's fine.

Alrighty, let's get on into this week's challenge!

Book of The Week: This week's book will be your choice of the Anne of Green Gables books.

Post: Post about which Anne book you chose to read, what stood out to you, and what you liked or didn't like.

Prompt: Write a story about a kid who gets adopted. What is life like for them transitioning--what do they enjoy about their new family and home, or what do they not enjoy. Are they imaginative like Anne? What's their hidden talent?

Watch: A cinematic version of one of the Anne of Green Gables plays. (May I recommend my favorite, the 1985 version featuring Megan Follows and Jonathan Crombie).

Enjoy these fun bookmarks which feature quotes from the books. Bookmark links: Pastel Brown and Green Floral Motivational Quote Cool Bookmark.pdf, Pink and Brown Soft Elegant Watercolor Bookmark .pdf

Remember that if you complete all the Reading Month challenges, you'll be given the Bookdragon badge and be entered to win a bunch of books as shown on the cover of this post.

If you haven't been able to keep up, don't worry, the last week up this month will be your choice of either catch-up week or read-that-book-that's-been-sitting-on-your-shelf-for-who-knows-how-long-week. :D Just let us know how progress is going with your the challenges.

How far along are you? Have you been having fun? Do you have any questions? Just let us know in the comments below!

Happy lighting, bookworms!

I love Anne of Green Gables!! ( as you probably guessed from my name😂). The version with Megan Follows is my favorite too!

Right? 😀And the cinematic series is still so good even though the second and third don't really follow the book's storyline. 😄
